Project at a Glance
Neptune Marina Apartments, California, USA
FF600 First Flush Diversion System
Outdoor dog relief area exposed to rainwater
Environmental compliance and marina protection from contaminated runoff
The Plan
Neptune Marina Apartments (California, USA) needed a way to manage their outdoor Unroofed dog relief area. The main concern was that contaminated stormwater runoff could wash into the stormwater system and ultimately into the marina, causing environmental impact and non-compliance.
The Solution

A FOX FF600 First Flush diversion system was installed to automatically capture and divert the first flush of contaminated rainwater and all washdown water to sewer. After the system has diverted the first flush to treatment, the clean rainwater is diverted to stormwater. This provides a reliable and simple environmental protection solution for an unroofed outdoor application.
The Outcome
The site is now environmentally compliant, and the marina remains protected from contamination. The unroofed dog relief area can continue to operate safely without risk to waterways, and site staff don’t need to manage complicated manual processes. The FF600 solution is a low-maintenance, easy-to-operate diversion system that provides 24-hour stormwater protection to the Marina and surrounding waterways.
