Custom Diversion & Treatment System - Suntory Oceania, Field of Dreams

The Task

The Field of Dreams is a construction project for a beverage manufacturing. They manufacturer process over 20 million cases of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Suntory Oceania, needed a system to ensure the stormwater was protected in case of any spill.

The Plan

Tru-Flow Services contacted Fox Environmental Systems to discuss the extreme site conditions, as well as the strict discharge parameters set by Suntory Oceania. After a few conversations the wash bay design plans were drawn up and sent off for approval.

The Solution

10 x Fox First Flush Water Diversion System, 1 x Transfer Closer System.

This fully automated stormwater diversion system included:

• Custom FF600 First Flush Water Diversion System that diverts the wastewater to treatment and automatically cleans the wash area in the event of rain. Preventing any contaminants left on the wash pad from contaminating the stormwater drains.
• The Fox TCS double acting Diversion System will automatically (or manually) lock down the stormwater during transfer. Once the stormwater is shutdown any spills are diverted to an underground blind tank, protecting the Environment from any pollutants. Once the transfer process is complete and the area is free from spills the Diversion System will automatically lock down the holding tank protecting it from rain water and the stormwater will open again, diverting any rain water to stormwater. The TCS is designed for unroofed Fuel Stations, Fuel Farms or any site where hazardous liquids are transferred.
